There is nothing like a stealth ballistic missile .. Ballistic missiles are name ballistic after the pattern of their trajectory which is high powered vertical launch , apogee then the drop . Ballistic missiles are burn a lot fuel at launch just like a space rocket and leave tremendous heat signature , there is no terrestrial ballistic missile launch site that can't be seen , the only way you can spring a Ballistic missile suprise is by under water launch from a submarine a capability the Iranians do not have

Well at least twice last year, two small air planes crash landed in the White House lawn. Did you read about that?

They created a lee way for the Iranians to save face and de escalate ..they where aware hours before the launch so could have stopped it by

1 destroying the launch sites which where known

2. They could have deployed Patriot defence shield to stop the missiles , Ballistic missiles are easier to stop since that tractectory is fixed so you can programme Patriots to stop them at any stage post Apogee

3 . Any of the new laser based ICBM systems could have neutralised it at apogee .

Russia delivered S-300 missile system to Iran
