In 2016 Davido left HKN music record label to start his own record label which is Davido music worldwide popular known as (DMW) and ever since then Dmw has grown to be one of the best record labels in nigeria which houses music stars such as Peruzzi, mayorkun,dremo and a host of others.
But there has been one artiste that is nothing but a waste of money in the Dmw record label. The artiste is ichaba
Ichaba whose real name is Mayowa Olusanya is a Nigerian Singer & Songwriter signed to DMW record label. The Afro musician is a native of Oyo state. Ever since he has been signed on to the Dmw label he has dished out a number of singles but no of his singles went past the studio. He has no hit song at all even after collaborating with the OBO on different songs and many are wondering if the guy is still signed on to the label .
If Davido was like Olamide he would have terminated ichaba's contract long ago but still kept him there for reason best known to him.

Davido didn’t sign Ichaba, he’s just a part of their crew and dude has good vocals and nice songs.

This is the thing with Nigerians good artist with quality lyrics dont make it to the mainstream simply because all they listen to are i.q draining songs that glorify sex, women and moral decadence
Brymo,Asa,Adekunle Gold and others even Ichaba have listened to some of his song Olotu the guy is talented.

Wande coal met with him and got the inspiration for his song with the chorus iskaba almost immediately - ichaba ichabrekete ichabrokoto and changed it to the iskaba dat you know now.
