A mentally-deranged man identified as Badejo Adewale has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, for setting a resident of Surulere ablaze after pouring petrol on him.

The burn victim, Bolatito Kadara who was
set ablaze at Hogan Bassey Street in Surulere was reportedly rushed to Lagos Island General Hospital where he is recuperating.

Badejo was arrested after the sister of the victim, Miss Adeola Kadara reported the incident at Surulere Police Station.

lagos state govt is not doing enough about these mad men roaming the streets o.
there are lots of them moving around freely and the govt is just watching. on December in this same surulere, a madman close to love garden in surulere popularly known as ndubuisi created a huge fire with lots of used tyres. the fire almost burnt cars and buildings. it happened at midnight and fire service personnel had to rush to put out the fire yet till now he is still roaming around setting small fires to every object he picks up on the streets.
