Now that English has become the official and dominating language in NIGERIA, can we replace the Arabic on Naira Note with English

Everybody says Almajiris are illiterates, but they can read and write and speak Arabic far more than most Nigerians can do with English. I wish we can make Arabic an official language

The last time I checked, Buhari and his brothers said there were more competent and educated people in the north than in any other part of the country as a result of which appointments have been lopsided in their favor.

Those things are not part of Nigeria problems, though had it been it's the other way round the Muslim will reject and ask for the changing

Arabs didn't make them, Indian mathematicians did. Those numerals originated from India and were adopted by Arabs who in turn brought that style of writing to Europe by Arab merchants. You asked us to google these facts, maybe you should take your own advice.

On the contrary, Muslims are tolerant of the many Anglo Christian values bequeath to Nigeria by the British. The Gregorian calendar, the Monday to Friday working week and many more.

Northern Nigeria was a country on it own

Before the colonization of Nigeria,the north is already a developed region who those everything in arabic(speak and write in arabic).They had to drop arabic for English during the Bristish invasion,which made them backword during that era.The arabic in the Currency note is to give the vast of them a sense of belonging after they decided to adopt English.

Arabic is a Language and not a religion, Many christians speak Arabic as their only language, The Bible also as an Arabic version so i see no reason why christians should opose arabic writtens on currency of a country that is bordered with Northern African Arab, and conduct millions worth of trade with them

As it stands, most of the Rams , Camel , Donkeys and some breed of Goats we eat and use in Nigeria comes from Chad, Niger, Mali and even Senegal, and most of our grains like millet, white corn and wheat are also sold back to them

On point, to add to that, most of the mathematical expressions and equations is derived from Arabic language and Science in general.
