The decision of some State governments to increase the Right of Way (RoW) charge for telecommunication lines by 1,200 percent may force the telecom operators to increase the prices of data and calls, sources have said. The Right of Way charges by states are in contradiction to the resolutions reached by the National Economic Council (NEC) in 2013.https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/telecom-lines-data-call-rates-hike-imminent-as-states-raise-row-charge.html 3 Likes 1 Share

The decision of some State governments to increase the Right of Way (RoW) charge for telecommunication lines by 1,200 percent may force the telecom operators to increase the prices of data and calls, sources have said. Many illiterates and fools will leave their state governors and representatives to keep heaping all the blames on the President. Same President that pays these governors BILLIONS and BILLIONS of Currency every month, just for their respective state to move forward. Criminals blinded by hate for their nation. Meanwhile, the minister yesterday frowned at the state governments’ disregard of the RoW charge agreement. “We received with dismay the decision of some states of the Federation to increase the Right of Way charges in disregard of the resolutions reached by the National Economic Council (NEC)’’, he said in a statement. He said it was disheartening that some states have decided to disregard these resolutions and have, in some cases, increased the RoW charges by over 1,200%. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

Born free, tax till Death. Of the numerous taxes they've been collecting effortlessly since the creation of Nigeria, we are yet to see any positive impact of the collected taxes. These taxes collected so far is not reflecting in any sector of the country and yet more taxes are springing up daily. Luggard, hope you're seeing this Where ever you are? 10 Likes |
