In all fairness your question is one of the funniest on NL in 2020. I am assuming you know what is meant by "Automatic" and "Manual"

To answer your question, the gear would change from 1 to 4 in ascending and descending order when switch to " D " as the computer controlling the gear sees fit for the speed you are "ON"
