Guys! Realme is a very good brand, their phones come with very good hardware configuration and as for the software, they are trying their best by supporting the software development. As we all know, Color OS 7 is on its way. I have used Redmi note 8 and Lenovo Z6 Lite recently, currently using Realme Q but I can tell Realme Q is better than those two phones I mentioned in every aspect.
Please, what can you say about this Lenovo Z6 lite?
Re: Realme Phones - Let's Discuss by Babaheekmat: 3:38pm On Jan 12, 2020
Real me holds marker share with xiaomi in India.

It's a reputable mobile phone

Lenovo Z6 Lite is also good in every aspect. The only downside of the phone is the lack of software development and support from Lenovo. Lenovo abandon their phones, they don't update them. The only chance of you enjoying the phone is by flashing official custom roms or gsi roms. It's a powerful phone, you'll enjoy the phone if you won't worry about the shitty stock rom.

Didn't you specify or confirm the variant before ordering? . Well that's bygone...

It's still ok tho, the only thing you're missing is some 4g bands and Google apps (which you can easily install by yourself cool ). So in short it's all good. Enjoy your device smiley smiley.
And pls, tell us your first impressions on the phone wink.

Realme phones got some really interesting spec sheet. With the introduction of the Realme UI they'll truly be giving Xiaomi a pound for pound fight for the market

Agama eyes on that Realme X2

Good specs on paper but am wary of the software but you can buy one so we can get first hand review from you.

Those fears will be fixed soon with Realme UI, I can't wait for their introduction into the global market fully.

Well they currently use oppo's color os 6.1 and will soon be upgraded to version 7 which is rumoured to be more better and based on android 10.

And as a user of the current os, I can tell you it isn't as bad as I first thought too. Tho definitely, there's room for much more improvement which hopefully we expect in the next versions.

The thing now is even if realme start their own UI, everyone still can't be satisfied (including me). But that's where XDA forum comes in, which means you can always root your device and flash any custom ROM of your choice on the phone.

But trust me , apart from the os which tho isn't the best but still manageable , realme offers the best value for money phones right now. Which if they continue will see them challenging top brands like Xiaomi globally( tho they are already doing that in India). smiley

Sure Bro! Enjoying my Realme Q to the fullest, currently on Pixel Experience Plus based on Android 9. It's stable, I get 6 to 7 hours SOT on heavy usage while 10 hours and above on minimal usage. Realme is gaining popularity day by day across the globe, there is currently a group on Telegram for Realme 5 pro / Realme Q users with thousands of members. The amazing thing here is we are making some donations to buy the phone and give some developers which they will be providing us with stable custom roms, custom kernels, custom recoveries and stable GCAMs.

Yes, it's official! We are hoping that the new UI is improved over the previous UI. Both Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT are receiving a stable update.

Realme phones are good but if you're the type that likes to tweak everything then this isn't for you.
.no rooting allowed yet
Can't change launcher
Requires Chinese number to register for realme account which hinders some features like (find my phone and some other stuff)

you don't necessarily need a Chinese number. there's a way to go about it. try registering on their website and then use ur details to login on your phone. after that, choose your country and put your phone number. they'll send the verification code. note: you can only choose your country once.

Sorry , which of the realme phones does not support rooting yet?

And on the features like find my phone and others which u didn't mention, I use a realme x2 and I don't have any issues. In fact, i use Microsoft launcher on the phone.

Find my phone works well and I didn't even need to register for anything. So I don't get what you're saying... I use the global version of their phone tho, so I can't say if that's the case on Chinese version.

I'm using a Chinese Variant of Realme 5 Pro which is Realme Q. I have already unlocked my bootloader and flashed several custom roms and gsi roms. Currently on root, I don't know where he got his information from!
