I don't think defence is. The inconsistency of the midfield or inability to retain possession of long period is what invites pressure to the defence. The defenders are decent enough in my view.

We don't have attacking wide players..pepe has not done much since is arrival..auba players from the left but he is not a natural wide players so there a limit to his operations. The central attacking is the biggest hole we need to fill. Ozil, wilnock, cabellos..dead beats. I doubt they will make aNY top four teams starting eleven.
