Wow, what a rear creature. Please u guys shud not kill it. Just take it to a wildlife park or the Zoo

Better they kill it than take to any zoo were it will starve to death or die of dirty or infected pond.

They should release it.

Seriously we should not eat everything now?
This is a rare species and must either be kept in a zoo, or zoo with a big aquarium or pushed back to the river or taken on ship to the high seas and released there.
I hope it has not been eaten seriously, my people my people nature is awesome and great creatures exist under water i tell you

Bayelsa ought to have a water park when tourists can view these wonderful creatures cool
Whusay , tourist park Ikwa, when the state government is not responsive for the need to have a tourist attraction center . A well thinking head of govt will tell anyone who rescue a creature will be give a certain amount of cash . And that is where the tourist center will start , bcus the government will benefit more on this .

Nooooo. U can snap pics with it then release the beautiful creature back to the ocean. Even though there is hunger in the land, we shouldn't kill and eat everything. Let's preserve a bit of nature for our kids and future generations.

That’s a leatherback turtle. An endangered species with less than 40,000 left in the wild.

I hope they didn’t kill it.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leatherback_sea_turtle
less than 40k left, LOL

Earth is 70% water and there are more water body than land...

only 10% of Ocean has been combed, so there are millions of them out there un-encounter yet.

u are wrong. There are parts of nature that are sustainable and there are also others that are not. Where are the dinosaurs, mammoth, sabre cats, dragons and many other creatures today? They are all gone. There are many others that are about also going into extinction. There are some creatures in the world that are less than 100 in total worldwide. If we don't protect creatures like that, they will disappear forever.

My friend working with chevron once sighted a white whale in the area. There are several of that specie in the ocean ,wasting away. Only God knows how many decades it has lived because I learnt a tortoise can live up to a century. The one in the palace of oba ogbomoso is over 100 years old.
