I sat for 2008 waec mathematics. The night before my classmates brought leaked exam questions for me to solve for them, I was already solving(thinking it was past question) only for me discover that it was the next day paper. I politely told them that I won’t be able to do such. See insults o. Anyway I went back to my hostel asked for forgiveness ( and went ahead to write mathematics exam the next day. I couldn’t even answer one question correctly. I just submitted like that. I got back to my hostel and told God what happened and I remember telling Him that I must not fail mathematics because I refused to cheat for His namesake. Few days later it was announced that we will be rewriting mathematics paper. I rewrote it and I had an A.

I asked God to give me flat tummy and that he should make me slim... Truly I was slim.. But I wasn't pretty at all... I've learned to love my chubby self better...


And I always pray to God to show me the part where exams questions would come out from... And gbam.. It's that path I skipp(ed) or didn't read much that questions would be set...

There is seriously no need for us to argue, if one can believe that God can raise the dead, then what's an amputated leg to him. When he said nothing is impossible for him, he wasn't mixing words.

When God said to ask him of anything there were no restrictions. I've seen HIV patients get cured, SS turned to AA, an amputated leg growing back. Trust me, whatever you think is " seemingly impossible" is actually so so easy with God. You just have to have a right standing with him, to get him answer your prayer.
Ps somewhere in psalms or Isaiah God said and I quote " A cattle upon a thousand hills are mine, if I were hungry I will never ask you". What can't he do?

I lost a dear aunt.
I prayed for a miracle. Even though I knew rationally , that it was impossible for her body to recover from the extent of assault her illness had dealt with her.
I prayed for it anyway.

Of course it didn’t happen. I wasn’t surprised.

i think its asking God to help me "wash" bitterleaf

Decades ago, i was assigned by my mom with the task of washing bitterleaf after school for ofe onugbo later in the day. Before i left for school, i went to the backyard to pluck the needed quantity of onugbo, threw them into a bowl, added a little water , covered it up and left for school. While in school, i remember praying silently to God that he should do a miracle and send angel gabriel to wash the bitterleaf for me before i come back from school.

That prayer was unanswered

@OP: I did not know how to tie gele and we were having our Final Year Brethren send forth in fellowship so I looked at the mirror and told God to help me tie the gele if He wanted me to get there early.

He did once and since that day, I became very good at tieing gele.

I asked God to make me just stumble on a sack/ ghana must go filled with pounds/dollars not naira oo cos our currency no get value. Hillarious wish but God can still do it.
