Hello Guys,

I have a sub market which I will like to explore within the android market share.

However, the ones I found on Alibaba does not last more than 3 - 5 hours on a full charge.

So I have been thinking of approaching Tecno makers to make the gadget for me using their tech on strong battery and some miscellaneous.

But to come in my name.

Can this be done?

It's very possible. Just tidy up a business plan and tender your proposal to them.

Which partnership? Only money talks in this kind of scenario. You share your idea, they steal it (if it's good enough)

Otherwise, draft your design, seek funding elsewhere and approach them for quantity supply under agreed terms.

Another way is to build a prototype and then launch a pre-order campaign on Kickstarter. Generate funds for minimum order, ship to clients and use the profit + capital for a repeat order.

I have the funds bro. So I will go with the second option to have them make the gadget for me. I just need a strong battery and good components that can compete favourably within NIgeria and other african countries...

Since you have the money, why not fly to China. There you will see many ODM companies you will work with the specification you need..

I think it's good but you'll have to spend money on marketing so people can get to know what you have to offer.

yes. I know I have a lawyer who understand the legal side of these things and will come in handy.
