Help Needed! My Compaq CQ56 has refused to charge. The
charging indicator blinks twice before going off when I plug
it to a power source. Your suggestions so as to solve this problem is highly welcome and needed. |

Your battery is old and tired. You need a new battery. |

lilachiever:yeah u need to replace the battery but try doing this temporarily. Shut down the system then connect the charger to see if it does charge. |

A dead adapter is one of the most common reasons your laptop isn't charging. Check whether the charging port is making a good connection with the adapter and charging brick. Also, the plug that goes into the laptop might be worn out from use. Check the power jack on the laptop |

Problem solved. Charger was the culprit so I got a tokunbo at Alaba. I hereby declare the thread closed! � |
