Yes there were damages but no single American soldier was lost, I can attest to that.
Iran was only allowed to vent their protest with that attack and the world prevailed on Trump to tolerate that as an honor to Iran's sovereignty(not so sure though about that, just an intel) but I can authoritatively say that no single soldier on American side was seriously hurt.

No American life was lost, America wouldn't have backed down if any soldier was killed

war isnt hollywood movie, US definately suffered casualties.. and the families of th dead soldiers are begining to ask questions
