This kind of news is not good. IMO STATE BLOG just learnt that Hon. Ndubuisi Emenike (Ototonwa) AA senatorial candidate for okigwe zone was today shot by his security aide in his country home in Isiala Mbano.

Reports indicate the police officer was celebrating the victory of the APC in the just concluded okigwe federal constituency when he shot his principal, Hon. Emenike who is a strong ally to Former Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
It will be recalled that Hon. Emenike returned to APC from AA following the Supreme Court judgement that sent Ihedioha packing.
Hon. Emenike is one of the contenders to replace the late Senator Benjamin Uwajimogu of Imo North (Okigwe zone)
Update: He has been confirmed dead

Shot dead by his security detail?
Hmmmmm.......I don't believe in coincidences. This reminds me of one of my favourite quotes by the Godfather that says:

"I am a superstitious man. If my son gets struck by a bolt of lightening, or he hangs himself in his jail cell, or he gets shot by a cop. Then i am going to blame some of the people in this room and that i will not forgive."
