As far as democracy is concerned in any Nation, The Judiciary will always be a tool of the ruling party. It's a norm with democracy.

Why do any administration swap the chief judge upon resumption? It's the play. That's just the way it is.

I wish this article had stated the alleged libelous comments made by Odinkalu. Nigerian citizens too are not so daft not to know the truth. Odili remains the first governor to restrain government agencies from investigating him.

If he pursues the path of appeal, he will eventually meet odili's wife, Mary, at the supreme court. Bad news for odinkalu, if you ask me.

It's not stated in this report that the Professor was not represented by counsel in the case. What the report says is that no counsel represented him during the judgement. The lawsuit was since October 2018. Judgement is just delivered in 2020.
