A doctor at the General hospital in Gombe State is reportedly on the run after allegedly administering the wrong injection to a student of Federal University, Gombe. The late student was identified as 'Alex' and it was learnt that he died, barely a day to his birthday due to the alleged carelessness of the doctor. Most times in emergency wards you'll see them surrounding patients like a swam of bees looking for their honeycomb... Doctors and Policemen I just can't tell which of them wey mumu pass in this country. Na just to dey peep dey touch woman poronto for sick bed dem sabi. Useless set of people. As far as I'm concerned, Engineers should be be given x100 of the respect doctors are getting. 3 Likes

TheGiftedOne:Very true. I experienced something similar back then in school when I went to remove a tooth at UBTH. The guy was just battling with it with such inexperience. At a point, he had to call his colleague to assist him. It got to a stage, I was the one encouraging him. By the time he got it done, the anesthesia was almost wearing off. I don't think I have experienced so much pain in my life.  |
