According to a Radio Station in Lagos;


The dreaded Coronavirus may just about be in the country if reports reaching us are anything to go by.


Nigeria Info has been trying to confirm rumours that a suspected case of a patient with the Coronavirus has been quarantined at a hospital in Lekki, Lagos.


Medical Director, Mainland Hospital, Yaba, Abimbola Bowale, says the Lagos State Ministry of Health is investigating the rumours. He told Nigeria Info that the ministry will soon issue a statement.


“The ministry has also heard that rumour and is currently investigating,” Bowale told correspondent Ufuoma Egbamuno.



“There is a rumour and the ministry is investigating and nothing has been confirmed. The Commissioner (of Health) will issue a statement very soon,” he added
