To my lawyers in the house and everybody else, Is it legally right for a parent or parents to violently force (by calling people to inject and attack them) an adult (their child) who is about 29-30 years and above to a rehab against his or her will just because they drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes (even when alcohol and cigarettes are not against the law)? Is it lawfully right to force them to a rehab against their will when they haven't constituted any nuisance or violent behaviour.

It's not for me o. I understand you, but what about people who are perfectly okay but get treated this way. Is that fair?

okay how? This things affect you if not now later in life and every parent wants the best for their wards. There's a saying that shame no dey catch mad man na the relations

How? The individual didn't displayed any symptom of madness whatsoever, yet they got forced to a rehab against their will. Cigarettes and alcohol are not hard drugs or against the law. It's not right to force an individual to a rehab because of cigarettes and alcohol, that's the issue here. So the person in question isn't a mad man. About 75% of Nigerians smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, does that mean that the 75% are all mad people?

Exactly. It's not right, that's what some other people including myself are thinking. Overseas nobody can forcefully take a person above 18 to a rehab.
