[quote author=NwaAmaikpe post=86324095] Legend has it that my maternal great grandfather was the first African hunter to kill a dinosaur. My great grandmother was the first woman to cook dinosaur meat. It's a shame that bad belle people have left this out of my nation's history books.[ hahaha legend man dreaming is allowed nwanne 1 Like |

When Geologists and historians writes and say, one million years ago, my people, do you know what one thousand years looks like? Mehn, it has been long that this world started. It has not been long since Christ came as historians usually says he came about 2000 years ago. This means that life and human have been existing millions of years before the coming of Christ. Some believed that animals metamorphosed into human. Honestly, the story of life and evolution is too complicated to understand. The stories of cave men and Eskimos are always interesting to read 2 Likes |

I remember some years back I went for a program in ibadan. An area called Apata. After I dropped from the bus I took a bike deep inside. Can't even remember the name of that area. I noticed something that looked like solid larva all over that area. As if there was an volcanic eruption a very long time ago flowing outwards. I wish I could go and trace the source but I could not I asked questions and nobody could tell me anything about it. 1 Like |

This is so interesting. I love geology. It’s why I studied it in school. I agree with the story behind that fossil by the geologist. I wish the Nigerian sediments were older than the Jurassic. I’m sure we would have some fossil remains or markers of dinasurs. But we don’t sha. 2 Likes |

boss1310: Come on.. it’s geology. Geologists in Nigerian universities make research about our ancient life and environment using fossils found in rocks too. Only that d media doesn’t publicize their discoveries like this. 3 Likes |

They wud need to get better evidence to make it believable. How does a foot print stay for millions of years? And that’s if it was even possible for them to walk on cooling molten lava. |
