I swr.. I ain't rooting shii. lemme flex phone small first...

my main issue is just that lack of Google convenience... even after installing the google apps, it just doesn't feel like a normal google-support phone...
plus, am I the only having notification issues? most of my apps don't send notifications to my notification bar even after activating it for all the apps.. it's until u enter the app before you'll see notifications popping up

On the notification issue, I think I saw something like that on XDA . Tho I can't remember if it was solved or not.. But you can just go there and check . I'm sure you'll find something to help.

I know right. Just tell me how many smartphone makers will give you an amoled screen + Snapdragon processor+ vooc flash charge at a very reasonable price. I'll wait smiley

On the fonts issue, I read from here that a new update which allows changing of font will soon be rolled out.

Realme are trying their best, they are competing with Xiaomi by following their footsteps. But over throwing Xiaomi, I doubt that because it's not something easy.

The notification issue is a general problem on almost all the Oppo, Realme and Oneplus phones, the problem is from the stock OS. Maybe the new UI will also solve that or future updates that might be released. But on my custom rom, I receive all notifications from my apps.

this notification stuff is just my major issue with realme... I can't keep opening apps just see updates/notifications... sometimes I won't even get notifications for my mails till I open the app... they really need to work on it...
their app restrictions is just wayyyy too strict

Yeah ... I read it's due to the aggressive battery saving method which kills app from running in th background completely. And it's mostly common in their Chinese variants.

I don't actually know ooo coz the place I am currently doesn't have any 4g network...
but check the bands and compare them to naija network bands. from my research, it supports all except the glo band 3... I'm not too sure tho... just compare the bands

Mine support Airtel 4G, 9mobile 4G and MTN 4G. Though you can only get MTN 4G and Glo 4G where they are using band 3 for transmission.

It supports Glo 4G but only band 3 which is only available at selected places. Glo was using band 28 for transmission which not all phones support the band even global versions.

Realme 5 Pro is a really good phone and I've been using it for a while now.

If notification light is your issue, download Notify Buddy.

Guys! Realme is a very good brand, their phones come with very good hardware configuration and as for the software, they are trying their best by supporting the software development. As we all know, Color OS 7 is on its way. I have used Redmi note 8 and Lenovo Z6 Lite recently, currently using Realme Q but I can tell Realme Q is better than those two phones I mentioned in every aspect.
pls help me, just collected my realme q and i cant install any App, IT keeps requiring i need account verification. i dont know what to do!help!

Go to settings and turn off app verification and allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
