Sanctions to target Nigerian Security forces procurement of arms and ammunitions citing gross human rights abuse. Total travel ban on senior govt and security officials other than diplomats Boycott of Nigerian crude oil Barring of US corporations and businesses in rendering direct or indirect services with Nigerian govt. Delisting of Nigeria from international financial transactions Push for ostracization of Nigeria from international sports competitions Banning of US registered ships, aircrafts from operating within Nigerian ports and airspace. If these sanctions get WH approval expect the UK to follow through. How then would Buhari get his regular treatment? |
