It is no longer news that Catholic priests dedicate their entire lives to worshipping God. They are required not to have any sexual relations, no marriage, and to remain celibate all their lives to keep them holy and focused on things of God.

Well, popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to social media to share his opinion on Catholic Priests remaining celibate all their lives.

According to the movie star on his official twitter handle, now that he is older, he believes Catholic priests should be allowed to get married, also adding that no one should question his statement.

The actor is currently under fire for making such statement as his tweet has garnered several reactions from his followers who took to the comment section to criticise his statement.

It was easier to remain celibate for men and reverend sisters in the earlier centuries of christianity.

Today, everything around you speaks to your mind. the devil is now the tailor that makes cloths. revealing every part of the body that appeals to our sexual senses. movies, adverts, books, magazines social media are designed to work on your senses sexually. have you visited Instagram lately. Are there priests and sisters there with hidden avartars? yes.

Catholic church can continue to fool themselves that their priests/sisters are celibates.

God forgive me, but i know one man who was very influential in Our lady pro cathedral Catholic church Abuja. He had a rota for all the reverend sisters in the convent close to the church in Area 3 Abuja.

He lavished the sisters with gifts. bought all their food in their convent and was unmarried at the time.

Sisters were rotating each other every weekend in his house. Year in, year out, this guy became addicted to reverend sisters who were mostly virgins at the time. they kept coming back....I have moved out of that area...I am not sure he has stopped because he is still in that church, unmarried and now richer.

Most priests and reverend sisters never made the choice to become one. their parents were core die hard Catholics who relished the feeling of being parents to priests. While they were still kids with no clear understanding of their sexual urge or orientation, they were sent to seminary school.

Now they are grown, have mobile phones with access to por.n on the go, they self-service themselves always because the society has seen them to be holy and they don't want to turn back.

If Catholic church dare lift the ban on marriage for sisters and priests, in less than 5 years, over 90 percent of them will be married....

Most of them have secret affairs where they shine Congo already....a lot more are taking solace in hand job....

nobody is forced to be a catholic priest!get out if u want to get married!this man is just playing to the gallery!!

People will be quoting beer parlour statistics, can u swear on this stat. I don't buy the idea of this false stats. There may be a few of them in that train, but majority of them are what they claim, not everyone is a hypocrite
