Are we still supposed to be using any kind of tanker to transport PMS in this 21st century ?

Nigeria is a country just because it is called one.

The rate of explosion, fire and fire related incidents in Nigeria is alarming. We knowingly plant hazards everywhere and are surprised when they result to incidents.

Where is Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) that flammable petroleum products are transported carelessly? Where is Vehicle Inspection officers (VIO) that vehicles without alignment, dilapidated unfit for purpose vehicles ply the highways unchecked?

Can the Minister of Transport already finish alternative transport means for bulk haulages and petroleum products!

I used to be scared silly whenever riding side by side with these heavy duty vehicles. Some used to be so top-heavy that only a miracle would prevent a toppling incident.

For every one good news I read on nairaland, there's always 10 bad ones.

Most of these accidents happen as a result of poor maintenance and driver error.

There is a place. This is not just a place people live in.
It is a dangerous place, without rules and regulations.
A dangerous place where evil practices exceeds that of Sodom & Gommorah.
A dangerous place that you and I should leave.
That place is The Federal republic of Nigeria.
