Political appointees of the outgoing administration of Governor Henry Seriake Dickson protest the non-payment of their salaries and allowances in front of Government House Yenagoa. The protesters comprises of Senior Special Assistants(SSA's), Special Advicers(SA's) and members of the Rural Development Authority(RDA), who were all appointed a few weeks to the State Gubernatorial Election which held in November 2019. They alleged they were only paid September and October salaries and allowances before the election and have not received a dime since David Lyon of the APC was announced as the winner of the the election..
