Igbos currently in Nigeria have been proscribed as a terrorist group ( Even though they are not supposed to be on the list.. The said leader of the group Nnamdi Kanu wont be attending even though it is parents burial except if Trump or Netanyahu escort him to Nigeria. We are all aware that average Nigeria security officers are unprofessional.. Why not let the sleeping dog lies and let the family of the deceased to handle their matters. You don't solve already existing problems by creating new ones abi why putting the lifes of the same people you are fighting for in Danger. Nigerians are tired of typing avoidable/unnecessary RIP messages Nti na-anu ihe abugi n ma o ha ka okpu Ata... 1 Like |

helinues: The problem here has never been IPOB, the problem has always been the security forces and their total disregard for the rule of law and human rights. The Nigerian security forces like to bring violence into a peaceful situation. Whenever the security forces are not there, IPOB will hold their event/rally and everyone will go home in peace As soon as the Army or Police are involvec, there will be shootings, killings, beatings and telling people to lay down in muddy water Why is it that violence is only connected to IPOB when the security forces meant to maintain peace are there? Now IPOB wants to go for the burial of the parents of their leader and the security forces a threatening fire. Yes IPOB was banned but has going to a burial been banned? No! Has Biafran flag and paraphernalia been banned? No! The only thing that was banned is IPOB. So how will the Police know who an IPOB member is when the Biafran flag and colours are not banned? The security forces only want to bring violence to a peaceful burial because they know that IPOB is not armed. If IPOB had been armed, the Police and Army would not be seen in Umuahia on 14th of February 1 Like |

gidgiddy:IPOB has been banned, yes but going to the burial has not been banned. IPOB members can attend but no inscription of IPOB on shirts, caps, wristbands etc. The police had made a clarification on this last month yet you guys go talking about the police coming to cause havoc when none exist. Let IPOB be armed because nobody is barring them, they'd get what they definitely want. Funny enough you won't be there |
