Don't mind that guy. Maybe Unilag denied him admission after all his efforts to get ingrin

The anger and beef from people who would cry for joy if they could jump the gun and become students is appalling. They love to hate what they can't have.

Congratulations to the university of first choice and the nation's pride.
Proudly Akokite. Where high self esteem is a university culture. If you have not attended UNILAG, you are missing a great deal cheesy. If you missed admission into University of Lagos , please don't feel bad, work harder next time. smiley

Without trying to be mean, I dont see how University of Abuja is on a list that Benin and Calabar have been left out of

But since its done based on popularity and not academics, I can see some sense in it.

Think whatever you like but they wouldn't go to LASU or OSU or DELSU and other SUs. They went to the most prestigious schools in Nigeria and Ghana according to their documentary.

It was meant to prove that if sexual harassment is prevalent in those prestigious schools, it means this bush schools don't have predators. They have extortionists and rapists.

You are indeed myopic like LASU graduates

uniRankTM, in a bid to answer the question of “What are the most popular Universities in Africa and Nigeria?”, published the 2020 African University Ranking of the top 200 recognized higher-education institutions in Africa and of 160 Nigerian higher-education institutions in Nigeria respectively.
The University must be officially recognized, licensed and/or accredited by the appropriate higher education-related organization in each country;
The University must be officially licensed or authorized to grant at least four-year undergraduate degrees (Bachelor’s Degrees) and/or postgraduate degrees (Master’s and Doctoral Degrees) and The University must provide higher education courses mainly in a traditional face-to-face learning format delivered through on-site facilities.
The aim is to provide a non-academic League Table of the top Universities in Africa based on valid,

A non academic ranking based on web search as metric. Next!

A non academic ranking based on web search metric. Take the celebration easy o.
Universities are not hustling fields but knowledge acquisition, dissemination and advancement clusters.

Put that aside and bring on any other metric. Unilag would be in top 3 so this feat shouldn't come as a surprise.

There are 6 states in the southwest where the other 2 first generation universities are but look at this data and you realise that UNILAG leadership is not a coincidence.
Lagos State Governor: UNILAG Alumnus
Oyo State Governor: UNILAG Alumnus
Osun State Governor: UNILAG Alumnus
Ekiti State Governor: UNILAG Alumnus
Ogun State Deputy Governor: UNILAG Alumnus
Does it not tell you that University of Lagos has something that makes their products tower over others? This is not a fluke and becomes more apparent when you add VP, Speaker and other alumni of UNILAG from other geopolitical zone like Anambra State that's like the Lagos of South East.
University of Lagos is getting it right! Other universities should learn from University of Lagos, the university of first choice and the nation's pride.
