The maradona politics that APC did to prevent Faleke from becoming Kogi Governor after the death of Audu because of Tinubu has come to finally bite APC back. Such is life, until we learn to be fair in this country no matter whose ox is gored, this is the kind of pain politicians will continue to inflict on themselves.

How can you rehearsing for your wedding a day before only for your boo to say e no do again and a day to Valentine for that matter.

Village people no dey play at all o grin

Bayelsa Supreme Court Ruling, matters arising :

1. But unfortunately Duoye who came second has no constitutional spread. So, he cannot be sworn in tomorrow. Please read the judgement patiencely and goodluck to you. The current Speaker may have to takeover tomorrow. Hope AGF Malami is not sleeping.huh

2. Now what happened that important assets of Bayelsa State Government have been stripped and lootedhuh Will outgoing and incoming PDP govt return the looted assetshuh

3. It is illogical for Wike to help Dickson, even Dickson himself is still in shock of the Miracle of Damman. The comeback was not expected by anybody. At the official opening of the Bayelsa Airport, Dickson was begging the incoming govt from the other side not to abandon the airport that the permission to operate the airport should be obtained from the Civil Aviation Authority.

4. The Judiciary led by Tanko made Mary Odili the Chair of the Bayelsa Panel in order to assert the independence of the judiciary.

5. Na waaaaa ooooo, our people, the PDP were seen clapping with one hand and they are confused of how to describe the the Supreme Court now. Wonderful !!!!

Buhari is the palm wine tapper, weh we see him ass on top palm tree in 1984.

Buhari failed no one, he is same person in 1984. U only felt dissappointed after painting a black man as white, yet the back refused to hide.

INEC should suspend the swearing to give them time to logically look at the supreme court ruling wholistically.

By the pronouncement of the judgement it means the APC was never in the race from the onset which means APC has zero vote which leaves PDP the winner in spread and popular vote count ....

I am a staunch PDP member but I must say from Buhari to Adeleke to Imo and now Bayelsa is proof we no longer have a judiciary that favours fairness but one that favours interest .

The issue that led to PDP taking over Zamfara State is still at play here, that is politics without fairness. If the APC was fair, that deputy governor-elect that ended up ruining the APC victory in Bayelsa was supposed to have gone to the Senate.

In addition, NWC of the party must do a thorough vetting of credentials of candidates before fielding them. It is not enough to collect millions for sale of forms.

It is painful that APC is losing states they won due to lack of diligence on the part of the party heirachy. I think Oshiomole should leave as this reflects poorly on his leadership. Your team can't win a gold medal at the Olympics and are then forced to forfeit it when you are found to have featured a fraudulent athlete to compete and you still insist on fielding athletes in the arena for future games. As things stand now, the PDP may not need to work hard to win elections, just capitalize on the lapses of the APC candidates and be declared winner.

Right now, Oshiomole must take responsibility and resign.

First of all, all APC votes are voided. So the number of accredited voters will adjust accordingly before calculating the geographical spread.

Go through it, he met the spread in 5 out of the 8 LGAs, that is if we say APC's votes aren't voided....which are.
He only lost out in Nembe, Ogbia and Southern Ijaw LGAs.

Diri is good to go.

Is it all about party ?

Or do we want the right thing to be done regardless of the party or individuals involved?

Why Diri cannot be sworn in as Bayelsa state Governor despite supreme court verdict

Results of the Bayelsa guber election.
1. Ogbia LGA:
APC - 58,016 *80.8%*
PDP - 13,763 *19.2%*
2. Yenagoa LGA:
APC - 24,607 *70.3%*
PDP - 19,184 *29.7%*
3. Brass LGA:
APC - 23,831 *69.6%*
PDP - 10,410 *30.4%*
4. Okuma/Opokuma LGA:
APC - 8,934 *36.7%*
PDP - 15,360 *63.2%*
5. Nembe LGA:
APC - 83,041 *99%*
PDP - 874 *1%*
Sagbama LGA:
APC - 7,831 *11.9%*
PDP - 60,399 *88.5%*
7. Southern Ijaw LGA:
APC - 124,803 *96.2%*
PDP - 4,898 *3.8%*
Now ⅔ of 7 LGAs is 7x ⅔ = 4.7
This means the person to be declared winner must score 25% votes in at least 5 LGAs. But from the above results PDP scored 25% in only 4 LGAs. So no one may be sworn in in Bayelsa tomorrow.
INEC will have to conduct fresh elections for Bayelsa.

APC never had candidate in the last governorship election in Bayelsa in the eye of the law ,simply because the candidate apc fielded for the election do not meet the minimum criteria to stand for the election in the first instance. I find it funny when a suppose knowledgeable person is trying to be clever by half .
