Those guys are counter attack specialist, that is where their strength lies. Playing Possession football requires requires special training for the players since academy, intelligent use of space and creativity for both the midfielders and the attackers. It is the hardest style of football to play and can be easily defended against if a team dose not have the right set of players or one or two of the players are not in form.
To make it worse almost all of the Possession based coaches are stubborn, pragmatic and will refuse to change their setup even in the face of impending failure.

Some k-leg players will never be able to match bow-leg players in getting the ball to lift off the ground and drop accurately.

Once you have a player with these qualities like Ziyech, that is golddust in football.
