All I hope for is that the widespread rage seen at the decision to approve him to office by the people is sustained and evolves into a citizen movement for good governance.

The new governor must be made an orphan until he wins the hearts and minds with qualitative, visionary leadership. If Bayelsans give up now the consequent socio-political blow back will be devastating.

Mr. Governor. You did not win the election, your opponents threw it away. My advice to you is to handle the affairs of office like the Christian salvation.... a precious but undeserved gift. Use it in total circumspection.
