Please Help Dell Inspiron 15 (3000) 8th Generation Not Booting by anuma1(op): 5:26pm On Feb 10, 2020

This Laptop (dell inspiron 15 3000) was brought to me. it was in S Mode (win 10) and I was not able to Install files. I decided to Format with Windows 10 Pro 2018. After formatting and booting for the first time if I restart the system it will show me no boot device found.

Check the hard drive to be sure it's properly seated. Secondly, check the boot mode, whether it's legacy or UEFI

it was on UEFI then I changed it to legacy before formatting and after the formatting process the system will boot for the 1st time then If I restart it will show me no boot device found

Check the hard drive connector... It could be from there

Bro this is just a new system. 8th Generation and it was booting normal before I formatted it

does it matter? What if it's refurbished packaged as brand new? We are trying to solve the issue right?

Anyway, put it back to UEFI and reload the OS

You would have safely removed it from S mode instead of formatting it.
