In fairness, while APC is playing poltics with insecurity, let's not forget PDP and their continous insuination that Bubu Ineffecivius, when he was an opposition candidate was behind Boko Haram and a host of other things....back in the pre 2015 period.

The truth is, PDP wants to go back into power, where they can chop. APC wants to keep on enjoying the chop. Neither side is really interested in really dealing with security issues.

The sad thing really is that there is no policy for dealing with this crisis, like the fact that population is growing, the avaialble free land is reducing, and roaming around with cows is becoming out of date, plus our farming needs modernizing. No one is willing to make the hard choices we need to forcibly modernize.

Politics aside. Buhari and his northern cohorts are behind boko haram. He can deny it but the fact on ground prove it beyond doubt. He kicked against them being labeled terrorists and I dont think he has done that up till now. He called them our brothers. He said any war against boko haram is war against the north. He always sympathizes with them, 'rehabilitating' and reinfusing them into the society to continue maiming and killing even after they are arrested.

We have to know that long before boko haram was born, religious riots and killings have always been the lots in the north, during years of senseless religious killings, Buhari was never known to have come out as a respected northern figure to condemn any killing. Rather he strived to maintain his cult hero figure among the almajiri army killers, later inciting them into a murderous killing in post election era of 2011,that riot claimed the lives of some corp members. Buhari during election campaign always boast of the support he enjoys from these section of downtrodden, illiterates killers who will later form the base for boko haram recruitments. Only a fool by now can not see that there is no way Buhari can put an end to a group he is somehow entangled with.
