Amaechi Escapes As Kidnappers Attack Abuja-kaduna Train Passengers by okrote4real(op): 10:22pm On Feb 16, 2020

Hundreds of Abuja-Kaduna train passengers, including the minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, have escaped attack by kidnappers on Sunday evening.

DAILY NIGERIAN reliably gathered that the kidnappers laid in ambush around Mando area and attempted to waylay the passengers, who arrived at Rigasa train station around 8:15pm.

Sources said no sooner the kidnappers opened fire on the vehicles than mobile policemen and soldiers arrived the scene in armoured vehicles to disperse the hoodlums.

“We were lucky the police and soldiers are nearby to come our rescue. The minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi was among the passengers. His convoy had to make a detour onto Rigasa road,” said a passenger, Musa Lawan.

When contacted, spokesman for Kaduna Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, said he would make findings and revert.

I would've doubted the News if not the fact that a Newspaper Company reported it.

Dispersed?? What happened to pursuing, overtaking and subduing them?
Why didn't we have at least one of the helicopters shadowing them or attacking them?
Don't we have drones anymore?
FG has to get something done quick. I wish them wisdom and all that is needed

-Femi Adeshina said "bombing have reduced, so Nigerians should be grateful".
-Lai Mohammed- "Buhari have fulfilled his promises to Nigerians".
-Garba Shehu- "Disgruntled politicians are sponsoring protest to embarrass the president".
-NRC- "Our train was not attacked".
Waiting for the lying government and minster usual denial of this ugly development while things continue to fall apart.

Henceforth politicians that board train either for clout or for state duty will no longer be seen near train stations they will leave it for the poor masses the way they have abandoned travelling by road since it is obvious our roads are no longer safe and also not in good condition.

Perhaps when angels starting frustrating them when they are up in the air in a flight they would start fixing what should be fixed.

I wake up with fear everyday because Nigeria is no longer safe
