SSL Certificate Error: Please Help!!! by cypher247: 3:00pm On Feb 16, 2020
Good day guys, for the past 5 days I've being getting this error anytime I try to access my site.

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

I contacted my hosting company they said I should clear my browser cache or use another network to access it, but even after doing this I'm still getting the same error message.

Please what do they mean by NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID and how can I correct this?

Nope

This is an issue with the SSL certificate installed on your website.

Tell your host to reissue your ssl certificate, it should resolve the error.

Cheers!

It is not done that way, my dear Mr. Scammer. There's no way you will run around this website calling me defamatory names, accusing me of being a blackmailer, and just think it's all over. Your action is a jail-able offence but this is a faceless forum and so we must settle well, you and me, on that scam alert thread.

I hired you to fix a problem for me based on a nonexistent expertise you lied about. You refuse to refund my money and blocked me on WhatsApp, thinking I will just sit by and watch you pick other victims.

One of my many NL friends, iamplato, saw your defamatory comments and questioned you. Please go and reply him. Better still, go and reply Tabbaz on that scam alert thread, he's a powerful crime fighter.

YOU CANNOT SWALLOW MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND DEFAME MY NAME ON TOP OF THAT. IT IS CRIMINAL.

@Dominique
Madam, kindly tell this man to answer to Tabbaz's quarry issued 2 days ago. Whatever is the outcome I will stand by it.

Thank you.

@op, cypher247, your problem is SSL certificate. Your host is trying to force a fake one on you (self signed one most likely) and your browser is rejecting it.

Either that or the original certificate issued was not fixed well. Contact your host and ask for a reissue and reinstall of the certificate if you do not know how to do it yourself in Cpanel. All these people telling you to whatsapp them will do just that manually in your cpenel and then charge you 5k.

The only other cause of this issue is that your site has been hacked via a third party code in the SSL issued. Meaning while you are here complaining your website is hyper-active, sending thousands of fraudulent emails to people all over the world (I'm guessing it has an email account attached).

Fix this fast.

You must be stupid for saying this. So, i should work without getting payment to cover expenses, talkless of being paid for workmanship? And are you not the same person as "iamplato" Be honest for once? is that not your other moniker? Its high time NL opens a thread for BLACKMAILERS to handle people such as these.And why do you come on nairaland to sell your ebooks? is that how people go about your thread defaming you?

This is the samething you did to @sicillian mafia. Infact, not only a blackmailer, but also a slave driver.when people try to help you out because you cant afford it, you take advantage. If you cant slave drive or cheat, then you result to blackmail. If i had read his posts and known it was you he was referring to, i would have blocked you out completely.Now look at the image defamation it has caused me? May GOD JUDGE AND PUNISH YOU ACCORDINGLY! WHATEVER EVIL YOU DO TO PEOPLE, YOU WILL GET IT 10 FOLDS!
Blackmailer..lowlife scumbag!
