I need help concerning this cases he had concerning debts owed by his fellow business associates.

He has fallen short morethan once to his fellow business men.
Once He paid to co rent a house and one of his neighbours stood as surety and also sighed as third party. The problem started when the 2nd party whom was to share same flat with him took my brothers part of 130k and traveled outside the country . The guy in question later returned back and the third party has not been serious whenever my brother ask about the guy. This case happened in 2014 and led to him looking for an emergency house that almost cost him his business.

Another case happened in 2017 where he paid in installment to buy a car . He paid #750k in total for the car when the car was still abroad . When the time for delivery came, it happened that the guy in question also collected money from another person to import thesame model of motor ( Lets just say the car offloaded has different colour and engine). He was willing to pay extra amout to take the one he saw but the other party who also paid for same car had upper hand and claimed the car.

When he reported the guy to their task force . A conclusion was reached and signed that if the guy in question did not provide the car he would pay 1.2m before a certain time elapse . Every party in the agreement signed the document . He has his own copy.

Later on the guy in question had agreement with my brother that he can't travel that another of his colleague will help him bring back the car from Japan. The other guy in question has to Bill him... Bill ran to the tune of 750k almost same he paid for first.

Now the problem now is things are hard for my bros and he has document containing signatures on agreement from this two deals. I know You may think that he goofed big time but he did considered most of this as bad business and almost forgone them.

But this night one thing led to another and he started opening up. I felt so pained when he brought document concerning this two deals that almost grounded him to Zero.

I told him we have to follow any of this cases to know if we can get something out of it. You cant be too merciful towards people yet no one treats you with mercy. Party to this cases don't care and in his mind " He has left everything to God and don't want fighting those debt to draw him back"


Pls we need direction.. His planning to meet a lawyer soon.

Bro He is not stupid but we are trained to listen and have patience. But this doesn't make sense now unlike before, He thinks he is going to recover soon. And it's like a family matter because he knows this people and they see everyday. So like the other guy that tried to sell him same car twice.. The guy have many pending cases bordering on debt .. So he said he didn't want to waste his energy since guy is very broke now and have no business.. They are friends.
