Keep us posted on the PARTH. IT'LL REVOLUTIONISE WAR FIGHTING. How will battles change when instant accurate counter fire becomes available?
Actually I made a mistake , it's not the smallest perse , it is the cheapest actually .

It is small enough to mount on a helmet and works with a wrist display.

It won't revolutionize conventional war fighting perse , but it will be very useful for counter terrorism ops and for defeating ambush and in urban warfare etc

Basically it will be useful to point out location of ambush teams , snipers etc during ambush or during urban combat when situational awareness takes a drop due to surprise attack and the urgency to take cover even at the risk of losing situational awareness

Gun shot detection system is already available worldwide on a unit level but AFAIK first time it is available in an individual level

Don't blame them! They should've been in contact with IA producing products in demand. Fault, maybe your bureaucracy for not seeing the need to have collective brainstorming.
IA has equally incompetent or callous people incharge at respective levels. No different from civilian bureaucrats. Onus lies on the end user.

Lot of morons in military managed to rise to position of power due to previous corrupt government.

Only IN is proactive rest IA IAF useless

ISRO Hypersonic Air Breathing Vehicle with Air frame integrated system (HAVA)

It is a lifting body hypersonic vehicle integrated with scramjet engine, and to be boosted by ISRO ADMIRE booster to an altitude of 44 km and glide down to 25 km altitude with a Mach number of 6.

The objective is to demonstrate accelerating flight of a hypersonic vehicle with scramjet engine power from Mach 6 to Mach 7 in 250 seconds at constant dynamic pressure.

ISRO plans to use the data base generated for the design and development of a Two-Stage-to-Orbit (TSTO) space vehicle, powered by air breathing combined cycle engine.

Test probably end of this year.

Interesting thing what if it is optimised by DRDO into a weaponized version with necessary aerodynamic changes , greater speeds and better operational parameters and mounted onto a suitable 2 stage solid booster.

Then we get a very potent, capable and accurate tactical / strategic weapon system both for

1. very long range anti ship role ,

2. counter force targeting and obviously

3. counter value targeting

that too with very high level of survivability against any current or future BMD.

Sickness to Socialism: Leftists Are More Likely to Have Mental Problems

https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/34889-sickness-to-socialism-leftists-are-more-likely-to-have-mental-problems-survey-shows

Actually if you ask me they got it backwards

It's not because they are leftists they got mental illness.

It's because they are mentally ill, they became leftists.

Idk where the post on the coronavirus was but its a story of warfare so I'll put this newly discovered info here.
A comparison between eight individual samples demonstrated that the Asian male one has an extremely large number of ACE2-expressing cells in the lung
https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.01.26.919985v1.full

Hmmmm....iow,the virus is designed to attach itself to lung receptors specifically common to Asian males.

Recently,a Jewish biowar expert from Harvard was arrested:
The bail for Lieber, head of Harvard’s Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department, was set at $1 million as he was formally accused, along with two Chinese nationals, of illegally “aiding the People’s Republic of China” by the US Justice Department.
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2020/02/03/harv-f03.html
His 2 Chinese co accused had interesting charges:
Yanqing Ye, 29, currently in China, was charged with one count each of visa fraud, making false statements, acting as an agent of a foreign government and conspiracy. Zaosong Zheng, 30, was arrested on December 10, 2019 at Boston’s Logan International Airport and charged with attempting to smuggle vials of biological research into China. On January 21, 2020, Zheng was also indicted on one count of smuggling goods from the US and one count of making false, fictitious or fraudulent statements. He has been held in jail since December 30, 2019.
Translation-Trump has had those responsible for coronavirus arrested.

Same time,a leading SARS/HINI/Ebola 'researcher died here last week.

Frank Plummer, a "scientific maverick" whose research had a profound impact on global public health, has died.

The world-renowned microbiologist was most widely recognised for his ground-breaking work on understanding HIV transmission.

Dr Plummer, 67, was also recognised for leadership roles in the Sars, H1N1 flu and Ebola epidemics.

He had recently spoken publicly about undergoing experimental brain surgery to treat alcoholism.

The researcher died while in Kenya
to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a research collaboration between the University of Manitoba and University of Nairobi, reportedly of a heart attack.

4000 $ of Swiss 7.62 mm NATO! Damn-just when you thought the 3k $ of the SCAR H was high! It has some AK in its DNA like the mag release and piston system. The pic is a full size rifle while the vid is a SBR.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfDQEQA2y_o

The recoil is mild and tbh Idk why. I suspect due to the massive bolt and/or muzzle brake but not sure. See the vid.

Nemesis8u,heard anything about Indian scientists commenting on the coronavirus? Last week a number of them openly confirmed the virus has identical characteristics with HIV. I can't find the link-maybe its been scrubbed. Can you find anything on your end?
