The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Thursday said it has so far recovered over N60 billion from erring banks as excessive charges imposed on customers.
The bank also said it has equally returned same amount to the affected customers.

Most government regulators like CBN and NCC are not different from the operators they regulate, they are all thieves.

NCC will penalized service providers to the tune of millions of naira for drop calls, breach of key performance indexes, poor quality of service etc, CBN will also do the same to banks for excessive charges on customers, loan breach etc yet the customers, who are directly affected by this infractions hardly get compensated despite the huge amount imposed by the government as fines and penalties.
