Because he hasn't achieved anything in life, he shouldn't speak up the truth? This is actually the Mindset of a NIGERIAN and that's exactly what's stops development. You all got to change your characters for development to occur.
i seldom mention people, but his use of abuse to drive his point home, propel me to do so. If you must abuse others to make a point, make sure you have done something different yourself.

Meanwhile on nairaland we’re still trying to figure out if it’s right for a man to pack his plate after eating.

That reminds me of Gbenga Elect during my days on campus. He can't even change a lamp-holder, yet he can cram Fourier series in Engineering math like tomorrow no go come.
Most engineering student will prefer to do their Industrial Training in bank where they will be well paid to doing it in an organization where they will be well trained. Anyways, I won't blame them some of them need the money to settle their final session bills in school.

So what happens when the radar detects the mountains of garbage on our streets or the potholes the size of canyons or the floods when the seasonal rains just round the corner come....what will it switch to? Who will make cars for the extreme reality tv show called Nigeria abeg.

On another note it is pleasing to see that technology is also driven by what I will call the third generation automakers, the Koreans and not just the first (Europeans and Americans) or the second (the Japanese). It gives hope that fifth and sixth generation automakers in the developing world can make significant impact as long as they sustain vision, consistency and excellence.

We may see an Innoson for instance launch flagship or cutting edge automobile technologies in say 40 years from now... wink

He is actually Right. He might not have anything, but with the vast knowledge he expresses on Nairaland, I tend to agree with most of what he says.
and you think Nigerians lack such knowledge? And he has to abuse everyone to show that he has knowledge? How many patent has his knowledge added to his name? Or you think knowledge is why Nigeria is not growing and developing?

Great! For a long time they've been doing copy copy like my brother, Innoson. It's good thing that they're now contributing to the enhancement of auto technology. One day my brother too will invest in research and development and also starts to contribute something meaningful.

Kudos the Korean giants!
Yes because you have to crawl before you walk.

But Nigerians including govt don't want to give innoson the chance to walk.

How ready are Nigerian roads for this technology. The bad roads are set to set the ICT Shift System to think it is perpetually operating in an off road condition! Where are the mechanics to manage the system!
Re: Hyundai And Kia Develop World’s First ICT Connected Shift System (photos) by BotherMleeper(m): 7:16am On Feb 22, 2020
Those saying Tesla has the same thing are wrong.

Tesla does not have a real transmission in their cars, what they've is a single speed gear to reduce rotational speed.

This is about using smart transmission management due to changing road conditions to optimize speed, comfort, and saves fuel. That means it's meant for gasoline cars.

Tesla's autopilot does not work same as this. Autopilot allows the car to maintain its speed and distance from other cars through cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and radar, and steer to maintain lanes, or change lanes. It's a form of cimputer-assisted driving

Tesla's goal is a Full Self Driving (FSD) car based on on-board neural processing computers feeding from a sensor array.

Don't just comment if you don't have any good thing to say..
You must be a very dull person for thinking that Nigeria engineers are just paper engineers.

It's actually LIDAR (light detection and ranging) and not Radar (Radio detection and ranging)..
Lidar is more effective and very accurate.

You obviously don't know much about the nature of the job of Engineers. Bye the way, Fourier series is not something you can cram. It's something you have to understand to be able to use it to solve problems.
So, if Gbenga Elect was good with Fourier series/transform, he is obviously smart. It's a complex mathematical analysis tool for Engineers.
