I need to know if it is possible to start a honey business by keeping bees with 100k? Guys pls I need answers mostly from those who are already in the business.

Yep!. As a starter, it is more than enough. Begin with low cost hives (Kenya Top Bar) about 6500/one and a bee garment. Original honey is very very expensive. 500ml is 1500. Ours in Agroforestry department sold out in minutes though we use both modern hives and KTB as well.

Choose good locations with enough nectar and water and the bees will do the rest. Send me one litre for consultancy. Good luck oh!

Do you mean to say the cost of a Kenyan top bar hive is #6500?

We bought 13 hives for N65,000 in 2017. Do the math.

Thinking of buying wood myself and getting someone who can construct it to save some # as against the #15000 they are calling here in the south
