Now that British boxer, Tyson Fury is WBC World Heavyweight Champion, the world seems to have turned its attention to the much anticipated clash with his compatriot and WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua.

But, the world may have to wait a little longer for this clash. This is because there is a possibility of a third meeting between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

A clause in the fight between Fury and Wilder indicates that the loser has a mandatory rematch option which can be exercised in the next 30 days.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Fury defeated Wilder in the 7th round of their clash to become the new WBC Champion.

A punch to the side of Wilder’s head by Fury in the 3rd round seemed to be the turning point in the fight as Wilder never seemed to recover from it. Wilder seemed to lose his balance from there onward and Fury capitalised on the momentum.
With punches flying from Fury in the 7th round, Wilder’s Team couldn’t take it anymore and indicated to the referee to end the bout. Wilder was pictured questioning his corner’s decision to end the fight.

But with his eardrums reportedly injured by Fury’s 3rd round punch, it is believed Wilder’s Team conceded defeat to give their fighter a fighting chance in the expected possible rematch.

While many boxing enthusiasts would now really want to see a unification bout between Fury and Joshua, they may have to wait a bit for at least the next 30 days for Wilder’s decision – a rematch to be or not to be.

As much as we all love Anthony Joshua, I don't want him to dare Tyson Fury.

He shouldn't even attempt it at all.

I don talk my own.
