NDPVF:Exactamundo. Like I've said many times, yoruba are just too cowardly. They can never sick by their words, always using others to shield themselves in fear of backlash |

God will bless you for your wonderful write-up...what I have been reading from the beginning of this thread is all sentimentals post and bigotry comments. To me, I think our problem is beyond seeing some group of people majority while other were tagged as minority..I see this country as home of bad cabal...who are only after their pocket...Tell me, if the Hausas sees themselves as the landlord of Nigeria, what is the fate of common citizen of the North, you seem them looking unkept, no school, no water, seeing human drinking water where Camel, donkey , cows and other animal drink from same river, their leader had successful brainwashed them for political riot, they lost their lifes for mere disease, no light , no security to mention few.....Let talk about the SW, is there anything working fine ? NO, people like Tinubu, Obasanjo to mention few has sit on every resourses here and left nothing for the common man, the same applies to my brother in SE/SS...We only see our politician fighting each other when one party feel cheated not for the course of the common man...I think we should hold our leaders for our suffering..the whole Nigeria is suffering for lack of Power, No good road, No water , No security and other amenities to make life easier...I support a country of justice, transparency in every system, a country her citizen will be proud of....God Bless Our Country... darfay: |

. . . . . . . . . . the online miscreants, whom I will aptly describe as sore losers are at it again . . . . . . . . . . .so you want the republic of zamudi? . . . . . . . . .or Biafra? . . . . . . .or is it republic of under niger? . . . . . . . . . .and your agitation found life after 'we' kicked out the failure of a president? . . . . . . . . . . .cry babies crying wolf every time they lose . . . . . . . . . . .what are your leaders saying about your new found agitation? . . . . . . .your leaders as usual will fall in line at the right time . . . . . . . . . . . .have they not started decamping? . . . . . . . . . . . . .six months after May 29th 2015, I predict that lots of eastern groups will trumpet support for GMB like we have never heard before (quote me on this), while the online gang will shout Biafra/under niger till their bellies rotten . . . . . . . . . . . . .Yorubas were denied during Abiola, they were shoved aside during Shonekan . . . . . . . . .yet they strategized and played their cards well to get back in the game . . . . . . . . . . . . . .the fulanis felt slighted by the Yar Adua brouhaha, they played their game well and are now back on track . . . . . . . . . . . . . .northern minorities felt betrayed/disappointed by a southern minority . . . . . . . . .they re-strategized and charted a new course . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .but you cry babies lost out, instead of changing your political strategy (which is based on malice by the way), you keyed into your decades long strategy which you have been playing since the 60's . . . . . . . . . . . .and we all are too familiar with the results of that strategy . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .here is an advice; while you are beating up the war drums, the other party is paying attention to his delicious meal, when you fire the first salvo, he will leave his meal and address your situation (leaving you in limbo) and then get back to his sumptuous meal!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . |

Do you want to see Yoruba youth killing people just like its happening in the north or what ? Or you just tagged Yoruba coward just that we are peace loving tribe....please I wait for your mature response cos I still don't understand your point...SS/SE and the northerner were beating war drum everyday, do you think you and I will be here on NL comfortable typing if the Yorubas have joined both the Hausas and the Ibo on the war...eye for eye makes the whole world blind, two wrongs can never make a right...violent is never an answer to anything..if we have course to disagree for anything, let resolve it peacefully...I don't know about you but as for me, I don't have International passport not to talk of Visa nor Private jet to run outta Nigeria if the gbege happen...My point remains that we lack visionaries leaders in our environment...they are all rogues after their pocket alone.. To me, if our resourses is well managed, even 1% of the 13% given to the Nigerdelta will be okay is well spent..but what do you expect when some chiefs of the area sit don on the whole fund and buy weapon for their youth to go into bunkering, kidnapping and other bad act while they keep their relatives in the UK or other safe environment. Chief (Dr.) Wellignton Okrika is the former chairman of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC and the founding father of Host Communities Producing Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM. Chief Okrika, aka Mr. 13% is an authority when it comes to the agitation for a better life for host communities and over the years he has granted interviews to the media and on numerous occasions spoken on the need for the Government to do the right thing regarding suffering communities In this interview he spoke on the history of the 13% Derivation Fund, and the bill proposed by Governor Uduaghan and the benefits of Unbundling DESOPADEC in furtherance of the over 20 years struggle for the compensation of oil and gas producing communities suffering despite wealth their natural resources produce for Nigeria. ideykwum:We the young intellectuals of this region have our destiny firmly in our hands. The decades of divide and rule propaganda are long gone, a renaissance beckons just at the horizon. Please never relent in raising the consciousness of the people. No army can defeat a firmly held belief in the minds of a determined people. Be mindful though that as we seek the light darkness gathers and they mobilize through our own people who will try to pull the lofty ideal down. The opposition deals in treachery, propaganda is his tool and betrayal is his chief delight. The enemy will not come through direct confrontation, they have no superior argument. But they have mastered sowing the seed of discord within brothers in order to perpetuate themselves. The enemy exists here, his minions are busy demonizing anything that challenges the status quo. Do not give in to their antics this time around. Enough is enough. Any of us who did laugh at Godsday Orubebe has unknowingly laughed at our collective selves. Orubebe wailed on our behalf that Monday afternoon, All the machinations against our people were made manifest, must we fold our hands and watch? If our fathers did nothing should we also stand aloof? If we have better education, knowledge and perspective which is power than our parents how then have we made it count? Perhaps the struggle this time will be championed by the southern minorities now that they have seen the bigger picture. As an Igbo man all I can say is that I won't betray you. I will stick with you till the very end. If you doubt ask Goodluck Jonathan right now, today, who are his friends? Everybody has abandoned him even his senator and federal representative. Who are the people with him now? The dream of Biafra/Lower Niger will work if only we believe. If we allow ourselves be deceived that it won't work, then it won't work. Biafra stands for Justice, Equity and Freedom. You choose. |

You are sooo correct!! Orubebe is the conscience of the Niger-Delta! And we must thank the Igbos for support! God bless you for your kind thoughts! People like you give me hope! Aegon: |

darfay:The above crap is one of most idiotic posts ever read on this forum. Why are most Nigerians inherently ashamed of their ethnicity? The last I checked though, there are Ndiigbo in the so-called Niger Delta. There is nothing I crave more than the realization of independent home that should be known as Republic of Igbo land. There is no right-thinking Igbo person that would want to have a so-called Niger Deltan as compatriot. |
