My dog is whelping Please how do i calm my dog down so that i can be able to touch her pups, guide them to the tits to suckle and shift them after they have had their milking sessions. In summary, how do i stop my dog from being hostile to me and let me touch her pups

Allow her to finish up and serve her food (milk and pap) and water. Then rub her back but don’t touch the puppies..keep doing that till she allows you to touch the puppies

Same happen with my Former GSD give her time, when she is growling at you don't be scared and try to be smart because she might bite u or she is just threatening you. Pet her slowly to gain her trust

To me you didn't train her well from small she hasn't trusted you yet maybe you used to flog or ignore her before.when my dog littered I carried all of them , she was even trying to relocate them but I collect puppies like 5 different times from her mouth.. That trust. Well you can still pet her stay with her alone when you are around give her snacks hand to mouth then from their touch her and give her snacks again.. Next time "later that day "get a chair sit down and give her snacks again with time she'll allow you carry her puppies
