The problem is not finding him guilty (that was without doubt from the get go)... The problem, my problem, is the punishment that will be meted out for such crime.

The idiot will merely get a slap on the wrist like his fellow looters (less than 5 years in a minimum security HOTEL)... A Man who stole a mere phone was sentenced to far longer.

We really aren't serious about fighting and eradicating crime in this nation... Our judiciary is a huge disappointment!!!

Kudos to EFCC for deligently prosecuting this case despite all the dramas from the accused who is now a convicted criminal. Kudos also to the fearless judge, he really did well despite Metuh’s theatrics throughout the trial.

Why isn't Ganduje in jail...

1.He has immunity as a serving governor.(And that was why Fayose never went to jail...and EFCC was bothering his associates, not the man himself)

2.The State House of Assembly needs to remove him first...and they had started hearings on the matter before they got hamstrung by a court order procurred by one of Gandollar's sockpuppets.

3.Gandollars was also very smart. He recieved the money by hand , alone except for the bribegiver. That makes it difficult for any prosecution or investigation to happen...since he did not involve his associates, any civil servant...or so on. (They could question the guy who gave the bribe, but if they can get witnesses...people who are not gandollars or the bribe giver....).

4.Crucially, I beleive that if EFCC can prove...that the person who gave the bribe benefitted from a contract or patronage in return...they can get Ganduje for the crime. But since Ganduje is immune from prosecution....(see points 1 and 2).

5.Any prosecution would have to wait till Ganduje is out of office....when immunity is no longer there.

What else am I expecting, let's keep bringing our own people down. You mentioned all the names above forgetting that the real criminals are up North and the funniest thing is they protect each other.

How many Northern elites have been sentenced to jail for any crime whatsoever?? None. Pls, don't mention Dasuki cus he has been released.

The federal Government of Nigeria is the Northern Elite and they are busy witchhunting who so ever they wish to.
