It depends on the level of penetration of the chemical in the spray. If it is just on the surface it may dry up peel off and heal with minor scar. If it is deep inside the result will be unpalatable. The problem with burns is that the damage does not just end immediately. It continues to degenerate the tissue until the apropriate thing is done.
To reduce the effect of scar tissue formation we are recommending hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hbot.
