LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE 1corithians 7:32, 1 Timothy 6:7-12, Colossians 3:2 Having all the Beautiful things of Life is Wonderful, but the only snag there is that these things count for nothing once a person closes his/her eyes in Death. They move to the next realm where all that matters is the Eternity of the soul. It is highly important that we make an appraisal of the two situations in order to ascertain what is best for us. Since material things of life- Money, Wealth, riches, fame and power are only relevant here on Earth, it only makes sense to give them lesser attention and instead focus on the things above. Have you been laying Greater emphasis on being blessed here on Earth to the detriment of your Soul? Remember you did not come into the world with any of these material things- cars, houses, cloths, wealth, riches and other things you tend to scramble for here on Earth. You are leaving everything you gather on Earth including your physical body because they belong only to the Earth. The things of this World are not worth dying for because they do not guarantee one's eternity in Heaven. They do not last forever and will cease to exist one day, but Eternal Life in Heaven is Forever. The best decision will be to Channel your Energy towards Making Heaven and that way, saving your soul from eternal damnation. Laying Hold on Eternal Life begins once you acknowledge your sins and Repent of them Genuinely. Then you go ahead and Confess your Sins and Accept JESUS CHRIST as Your Lord and Savior. |

I think of Jesus Christ who came 2000 or so years ago and I am very delighted that he was not selfishly concerned about making heaven or he would not have spent his entire preaching life teaching me how to live in harmony with my fellow human beings right here on earth. I also think of the commandment and promise of God that I “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”, and that if I do theses things "God will blessed me". "[url=https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+16%3A24&version=NIV]If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me[/url]", saith the Lord, and the cross is most definitely not your own soul, which you need not worry about unless you lack faith and think you can add [url=https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+6%3A26-34&version=NKJV]one cubit to your stature instead of seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things (including what will happen to one's soul) shall be added to you[/url]. So therefore, Channel your Energy towards Making this earth to become like Heaven, because "Sufficient for the day is its own trouble", and the Lord has your back. |

The context of laying hold on eternal life is not from the point of struggling to keep from loosing the free gift of Gods Grace paid for by the most costly price in the universe: the blood of Jesus Christ. It is from the context of being worthy of the calling for which we were called as a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Gods peculiar people called to proclaim Gods praise in this sinful generation.
