I will go straight to the point.
I've been dating my girl now for about a year and three months. Within this period I've subjected her to many form of tests and observations and she has passed all even though no one is perfect. She's so homely, beautiful, decent and selfless. I initially struggle with the relationship as it is a distant relationship but later fell deeply in love.

So far she's been very honest and truthful to me and also I've never had a reason to think she cheated on me. During this period of us dating, I've met with her parents and siblings and invited her to meet my family and extended family. They all loved and accepted her and encouraged me to settle down with her ASAP.

On two or three occasions, we have discussed several topics which includes genotype and blood group of which she told me she's AA genotype and O+. That she checked her genotype twice while in school and on both occasions they were AA. Of cause I've always been AS and I had to confirm again this week of which nothing changed.

I had my family members visit her family house to ask for her hand in marriage last weekend which was successful. However, a week before I got my uncles to go and ask for her hand in marriage, I asked her to go comfirm her genotype in a competent laboratory so that I won't be acting on hear say. But she kept telling result wasn't ready until my people visited and left. I called again today to find out when she broke the news to me that she's AS too.

I've devastated and frustrated since this news broke out and she's been crying all the while.

Please, what options are available if we decide to risk it and marry each other??

A doctor adviced that we can check our baby's genotype while in the womb and terminate is the outcome is not favourable...

But this only apply in theory.In practical,it's possible u have your first child with SS..
