lol if you've not gone for service yet...I think you would make course 48.. factoring that youve not gone yet..you won't have your certificate by November/December...that's if the army recruits this year Sha.

my thought exactly, going with the rumour of course 46 training for 18 months. I don't think form will be advertised this year.

By the way, Kodack and Shobroy, did they make the list. Shobroy is a fellow state man from the same local government.

We no even see kodack again.

lol bro there's no information stating that SSC training has been pushed up to 18 months... truthfully, the notion cannot fly..plus apart from regulars, it's not done anywhere in the world...when it's not masters.
Besides those of us that went for screening know it's still and will remain 9 months...we were lectured a couple of times by the board president and other senior officers.
Ssc trainings are fixed at 9 months and it's very strategic that it's so.

Please Doe anyone have any idea of how dssc cadets dress during training?
I mean do they wear jajis insignia on their uniform?
Do they wear cadet colors?
I'm used to the NDA cadets style of uniforms during training..if there's anybody that knows and maybe even has pictures, it'll be greatly appreciated.

I believe so.
Military training is not a joke... People actually die in training.
Someone who is not well informed may apply thinking it's a normal day to day job, so when they report for training and are faced with the reality they would rather carry on. But still, It's a thing of mind and determination. People, both male and female have passed through it and come out stronger.

One of them even had to fake being blind so that he could get a discharge...

Cadets run away in the dead of night with only their credentials..LMAO!

Even dssc too...they gave dssc cadets 2 hours to use their phones yesterday and i spoke with my friend...about 12 cadets are missing...it's nit beans

Then they should call up people to replace them, it is not yet far into training. Me still dey wait their call.

They aren't calling anybody...that's why they recruited more than normal...it's not everybody that'll pass out .. at least 100 plus will still disappear.

Less than 300 resumed, more than 270 passed out. Most of your comments here are false or exaggerated. I don't know where you get your info from but they are misleading. I have not heard of a course in the history of NDA that 100 cadets didnt pass out due to one or two issues.
Why don't cadets pass out. 1) Indiscipline, cadet gets charged and a level of indiscipline can make that cadet get withdrawn or dismissed for SSC, for regulars they can be relegated 2) fake or forged credentials 3) medical issue 4) Death 5) Run away. Now calculate these factors, how possible is it that a course will have 20 each of these esp since we are talking about SSC thats 9months??

Just couldn't over look this blunder. We even laughed over it. 'At least 100 cadets go still ja' exactly what you said. Haba mana, thats never going to happen. Hasn't, will not and will never happen in any course.
Let cadet issues be their issue and that of the academy, discuss on how to get yourselves together as you look forward to joining this service in the future (thats if you want to try again) for those that had one medical issue that can be checked, check that.
For those that couldn't make cage, train harder to beat the time or was it physicals, also train. Work on your confidence as you plan on facing the board again.
This thread is about discussions on how to get to where your friends are now. NDA, Jaji. Some of us learnt from here and took steps that made us get to where we are today.
For those that are passionate about going through the process again, do not be discouraged, if you're on the fence do not be pushed.
Make that mind up, there are lots of opportunities in the civil world. Happy new month to us all and may your dreams all come through.
