The Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Christian Mmadubuko has inaugurated Tricycle Control Officers, codenamed (Keke Control) in Onitsha, IgbereTV reports.

Inaugurating the Officers, Dr. Mmadubuko said that their mandate is to ensure that Tricycle operators in the State do not park and load indiscriminately along the road, thereby causing gridlocks and sometimes avoidable accidents.

The Commissioner further noted that the Officers will work in synergy with the Anambra Traffic Management Agency, Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, as well as the Tricycle Union in.

Dr. Mmadubuko warned the Officers not to extort money, harass or intimidate any Tricycle operator under any guise.
