If you've attempted to run a search today on google's engine, you may have noticed that the "Google" is looking different from what you knew. It's only google, doodling their logo.

Google Doodles are pictures and animations that occur on the search engine “Google” on special holidays, birthdays of famous people, and google events such as Doodle For Google and Google’s Birthday. Today's doodle though, no doubt celebrates the leap day.

Doodles were started in 1998, and continues to improve through not only motionless pictures, but also games, Ai software, moving characters, and more. These doodles commonly appear in place of a letter or two in the google word, while some make the entire word “google” bouncy, a different font, size, or color. Most update or change every day or so, while some days simply returning to the typical logo.

In addition to celebrating many well-known events and holidays, Google Doodles celebrate artists and scientists on their birthdays, including Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Nikola Tesla, Leonardo Davinci and very recently, our very own Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, the Nigerian martyr who curbed a wider spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria by placing the patient zero, Patrick Sawyer, in quarantine despite pressures from the Liberian government.

Interestingly, these combinations of facts and history to create over 200 doodles each year that are seen by billions of people every day, are done by only a team of five full-time google doodlers (Yes! It's a real job role).

This is a DUNCE VS A DON ENCOUNTER. WHO GETS BP FASTER?

Sometimes you ask Google silly question, you get silly answer.

That is to say Google has gone doodle and goodbye.
