I need you to walk me through how I can order for a salvage car from abroad and land it at Tin Can port in Lagos.

I need you to give me a first-hand experience, and not a story you were told.
I need you to give me some websites to bid and how to bid for the cheapest price.
I need you to provide me with agents that will conclude arrangements for shipping.

Check the VIN out, and if the odometer is high, run.

Please don't. Stop importing death machines. Why not find a way to import brand new vehicles? It is pricey, but worth it.

Please is there anything wrong with buying a cheap flooded car, if the cost of repair isnt costly?

Please house, I am on the verge of buying a Lexus rx 350 at monsterexport.com for personal use at a cheap price (though high mileage but Vin check shows car is in good condition)

Are they genuine?

Even people that have been in used imported car business for 20years get their fingers burnt sometimes.
Don’t buy any flooded car no matter how cheap
Have someone go inspect the car for you, it might cost you a little more
Apart from the bidding price, find out other costs involved, especially the inland towing and auction fees.
Make sure you have your money ready as delay would cost you late payment fee or even lost of auctions privileges
Remember that some cars at online auctions are prepared to look nice on pictures, don’t fall for that
Front end damage even without airbag deploying would cost you more to fix as there are many part to replace but it comes out nicer.
Don’t buy an expensive car as a beginner
Finally, you can’t go wrong with Toyota if you have plans to resell
Good luck and pray.
