All the goals were not as a result of any cover for the full backs. All he goals passed through VVD, all ball watching and lack of concentration. Infact the 3rd goal was a sloppy pass from TAA.

1st goal: a throw came into liverpool box, Deeney and Lovren contested the ball, both missed it, Dacoure ghosted in front of VVD, passed the ball from tight angle, with VVD guilty of clear ball watching, Sarr reacted quicker than Robertson to tap in. Lovren is absolutely not at fault. VVD and Robertson at fault.

2nd Goal: touchline scramble lead to a smart quick through ball by Deeney, Again VVD lost his man Sarr. He gave a chase but the Senegalese chipped Alisson. VVD was fully responsible for this one.

3rd goal: TAA gave a foolish backpass toward Aliison, Sarr read it and intercepted, with Allison off his post. Infact It was VVD that Sarr ghosted past to intercept the ball. He turned back to find Deeney who finished.
TAA and to an extent VVD at fault.

Van dijk has been world class for the past 2 Seasons. If he can keep it up for the next 2 to 3 seasons he will be a great defender. Allison and Van Dijk are the only true world class players Liverpool have in my opinion.

TAA had a terrible game because there was no Gomez or Henderson to cover for him when he ventured forward...
Lovren is an absolute liability,this isn't a new thing...
